As a part of certified Data Scientist  certification requirements, candidates are required to submit open project under 7 working days from the day of assignment. In case of delay due to unforeseen reasons, including personal reasons, candidate can request for extension of time.

The extension of the project submission time needs to be requested through  support.iabac.org

This extension may/may not have influence of exam grade, which depends on various factors including reason for extension, duration of extension, work done beyond the scope of assessment of the project and quality of the project .
